MASE ./mãse/ is a creative studio focused on communicating unbuilt architecture. Through imagery, motion and visual exploration, we help ideas become tangible before they are built.

WORKFLOW

1 — Coffee or call
This is when we get to know each other better and talk through what you need and expect from your project. Whether you’ve got it all figured out or need a bit of guidance, we’ve got you covered.

2 — Info
Having all the details helps us create a tailored quote for your project. We’ll need things like 3D models, layouts, references, and any other info you think might help us bring your vision to life.

3 — Approach
Together we will find the style that fits your project best. Using the info you share with us, we will look for references and elements that bring out a realistic, and clean visual feel and blends your ideas with our creative direction.

4 — Hands on
Using various software we will turn previously discussed ideas into visuals. This is a step in which a delicate fusion of possibility and reality finds it’s shape.

5 — Revisions
To make sure everything’s just right, we include a few rounds of revisions so we can fine-tune details like textures, colors, and shapes before moving on to the final high-res version.

6 — Delivery
Final images can be delivered in a digital or physical format. We also provide high dpi images required for printing, or high resolution animations suited for various platforms.

WORKFLOW

1 — Conversation
Every project starts with understanding what needs to be communicated. We discuss the design, its ambitions, the intended audience and the role visual media can play in moving the project forward. Whether the goal is to develop an idea, win a competition, secure approvals or launch a marketing campaign, understanding the objective helps shape the process ahead.

2 — Context
We gather drawings, models, references, sketches and any other material that helps us understand the project. Beyond the technical information, we look for the qualities that make the architecture distinctive and worth communicating.

3 — Exploration
Before defining a final direction, we explore possibilities. This may include atmosphere studies, material investigations, detail-focused views, conceptual diagrams or alternative visual approaches. Often, these explorations become valuable tools in their own right, helping teams evaluate ideas, discuss options and better understand the project as it develops.

4 — Direction
Together we identify the stories worth telling and the visual language best suited to tell them. Every project has different priorities and every audience responds differently. Defining this direction allows us to focus on what matters most.

5 — Development
With a clear direction established, we develop the visual material through an iterative process of making, reviewing and refining. Depending on the project’s needs, this may result in renderings, diagrams, animations, detail studies or other forms of visual communication.

6 — Outcome
The final result is rarely just a collection of images. Throughout the process, visual material is created to support design development, presentations, competitions, publications and marketing efforts. Our goal is to create communication tools that help architecture be understood, discussed and remembered.

CAPABILITIES

Architectural imagery
From large-scale exterior views to intimate interior scenes and detail-focused studies, we create imagery that helps communicate the qualities of a project. Whether used for design development, competitions, publications or marketing, our focus is always on conveying architecture in a clear, atmospheric and meaningful way.

Animations
Some ideas are better understood through movement. Animations allow us to communicate spatial relationships, sequences and experiences that cannot be fully captured in a single image. We approach motion with the same attention to atmosphere, detail and storytelling as our still imagery.

Virtual experiences
Interactive and immersive experiences offer a different way of engaging with architecture. Through virtual tours and 360° environments, users can explore projects at their own pace and gain a deeper understanding of space, scale and atmosphere.

Aerial photography
Aerial imagery provides valuable context and perspective. Whether documenting an existing site or integrating architecture within its surroundings, we produce high-resolution aerial photography that supports both design communication and marketing needs.

Visual consulting
Visual communication begins long before the final image. We help clients define narratives, evaluate visual directions, explore materiality and identify the most effective ways of presenting their work. Drawing on years of experience, we support projects at both design and communication stages.

…and more!
Every project is different and often requires tools beyond traditional visualization. Alongside the services listed above, we also undertake bespoke visual studies, image editing, presentation material, competition support and other creative work. If you have a project in mind, we’d be happy to discuss how we can help.
